A key element of our psychology degrees at the University of South Wales is hands-on experience. Psychology Plus provides students with free opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge base with the aim of giving them a competitive advantage in the graduate jobs market or when applying for further study.
This year, as part of Psychology Plus, Research Dyscovery are offering research internships to undergraduate students in their second and third years. These posts will be 6 weeks in duration (a few hours per week) and will offer students the opportunity to gain real hands on experience of research-relevant skills within a developmental disorders setting. We hope that these posts will offer insight into many aspects of working in research, from the initial grant writing stage right through to publication in peer reviewed journals.
Internships will be offered on a first come first served basis. Interested students should contact the research team at ResearchDyscovery@southwales.ac.uk
